Bacon and Idaho State Senator Marv Hagedorn to provide a
pathway for wounded and injured post 9-11 veterans to transition
through education into careers of their choosing. In 2011, the
Wyakin Foundation welcomed their first class of 5 veterans: fast

Idaho Backcountry Veterans
Started in 2017 Idaho Back Country Veterans is a Not-For-Profit
corporation registered in Idaho. They fundraise and have a series of
amazing sponsors and partners that help them create natural
escapes for those they help. They get vets together with each
other and away from the daily grind. Like-minded individuals in a
comfortable environment where they can drop the shields and
open up about their experiences with those that have been
through the same experiences.
Veteran Entrepreneur Alliance
The Veteran Entrepreneur Alliance exists to help veterans
reconnect and find success through entrepreneurship. Many
veterans struggle to find where they fit in after their time in the
military is done. The VEA will help these men and women find a
renewed purpose as well as their next mission! We strive to achieve
this through education, mentorship and community engagement.
